Miami Rugby

Here at the GASC we host, for practices and socials, the oldest rugby team in Florida, Miami RFC.

Rugby is a tough, physical sport that grew out of soccer, and is the precursor to American football.  In rugby, all passes are lateral, and players and kick the ball forward.  Play is continuous, like soccer and basketball.  There are fifteen players to a side and a game consists of 2 forty minute halves with a 10 minute halftime.

We welcome players of all skill levels (no skills or experience necessary) and all age groups.  We have both men and women's rugby.

Practices are at the GASC on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Youth (U8-U19) practice from 6:30-8pm.  Senior men and women practice from 8 pm-10pm.

Come join the fastest growing sport in America!
