I found on Yelp Events a viewing party on Sunday night for the series finale of Game Of Thrones, so I RSVP'd. Didn't know what to expect but to my surprise I found a great community with a passion for the German culture, film, TV and art. The event was free and everything had a GOT theme. The food was $7 a plate.

Wonderful club, fun events, good beer, and the annual Oktoberfest is always a good time! This is a membership club, but for Oktoberfest and regular events for charity, the public is invited. We've been attending Oktoberfest here for years. The music, dancing, beer and good are always great. This year we finally joined, and we're looking forward to the Wednesday night home cooked German meals!!

Oktoberfest has gained popularity over the years and there's a good reason why. With live bands playing a vast array of music, good food and beer, plus entertainment for kids, where else should you be but the German American Club!

I take my kiddos every year, so I tend to arrive during daylight and cut out by 9p. My son LOVES the festival. It was only a year ago that they added the bounce houses, giant slides, and jousting, but my son goes bananas over them every time, He told me this time that it was the best day he had all year 🙂
