About the German-American Social Club

History and Mission

The German American Social Club of Greater Miami was founded in 1949.

The mission of the German American Social Club of Greater Miami is to celebrate our heritage by sharing with the community our German history, culture, and traditions.

We also aim at improving our community by
working with local charitable organizations and
through our scholarship program.

Our Facilities

Our Clubhouse is located on 5 acres of land on Miller Drive in South West Miami's horse country.

We have a large multi-use hall with a stage and dance floor where we hold events. Our big 206" screen is used to televise sporting events and for movie nights. We have a full kitchen and bar, as well as an external grill.

Outside we have a full soccer pitch which is used on Saturdays and Sunday mornings.

Our biggest event every year is Oktoberfest on the last two weekends of October. It is the largest German cultural event in South East Florida and the oldest Oktoberfest in Florida.
